Dave BentleyAfter our disappointing game at Doncaster we entertained Lincoln City in our first home fixture of the season.

In the first 14 minutes we created three good opportunities to score but failed to take any of them. Lincoln were quite bright in their play and gradually came into the game. On 21 minutes we failed once again to defend and conceded from a long throw from the right, a flick on was not dealt with and Lincoln's forward punished us scoring past Whatsize.

All around the pitch we were reacting far to late to any situation but some fine play on the right by O'Brien on 38 minutes resulted in Richard Bull scoring with a fine header past the Lincoln keeper.  Half time 1-1.

In the second half we started sloppy and conceded a very bad goal on 56 minutes from our corner on the right. Our discipline was poor and Lincoln counter attacked us and scored to make the score 2-1. On 73 minutes two substitutions were used Lowe for R Bull and Burns for Pride. We never really put enough pressure on the Lincoln team as a unit and never recovered from the second goal. Another setback but we are still capable of turning things around.
