Chesterfield Football Club has signed a lucrative new sponsorship deal with local motor dealers, Stratstone.

The new deal, which will see the Youth team sporting the Stratstone BMW name & logo on all their home and away team shirts and shorts, is for an initial one year period, with an option for a second year. 

The sponsorship is for an undisclosed amount, but both parties to the deal can confirm that the sums involved are substantial.

The Spireites youth team is this season competing in the Puma Youth Alliance U18 League.

In announcing the new deal, Chesterfield Director Chris Breeze said "Seeking any kind of sponsorship in the current climate is extremely difficult but to secure one of this size and with an organisation such as Stratstone just shows the progress that the club has made in presenting itself as a credible marketing opportunity for those in the business community."

Dealer Principal, Jonathan Davies has long supported the Spireites from the terraces and he welcomes the opportunity to become involved with the club.  "We've been seeking a way to help promote our organisation through football and we identified that the qualities displayed by the club -particularly professionalism and ambition - sit perfectly with our objectives."
