All of our pre season games have now been completed the performances have been mixed but we are working hard on all aspects of the game to start out League games.

Ossett Albion we played at a very high tempo and went 3 - 0 up inside 28 minutes with goals from Bull, Challinor (pictured left) and Foyle a pretty good start to our games.

We then traveled to Sheffield Wednesday training ground and played very well for 75 minutes going 3-0 up playing some good football with goals from Bull, Jackson(2) we then conceded 3 late foals to draw the game 3-3.

In our games against Grimsby Town we conceded 2 goals and missed a hand full of chances but our performance was not to bad.

Blackwell MW were our next opponents and Jackson scored after only 7 seconds to put us in front we then conceded a bad goal when our wall at the free kick broke to allow the Blackwell player to score.  Wright then headed on from close range after a well worked corner on his right.  From a Blackwell corner we conceded the second goal allowing a free header Bull (pictured right) then headed in after a cross from Law on the right then Jackson scored his second goal of the night to make the score 4-2 to Chesterfield.

Then in our final game away to Retford United we were totally out classed by a bigger and stronger team along with some awful play from ourselves and lost the game 6-1 with a Bunn consolation penalty.
