Chesterfield FC's youth team, sponsored by BMW Stratstone, were due to play Lincoln City U18s away in the Midland Youth Cup Semi-Final tonight but the match has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.

The match will now be played at Sincil Bank next Monday 25 February 2008, kick-off 7.00pm.

The youth team booked their place in the semi-final by beating Hinckley United 5-0 in the first round and battling through the second round to beat Cheltenham Town 4-2 on penalties after a heroic display by goalkeeper Dan Whatsize.

The lads now face Lincoln City for a place in the final against the winner of the other semi-final between Walsall and Port Vale.
