Ben Algar opened the scoring after 11 minutes, driving home from 20 yards before he turned provider, crossing from the left for Jake Williams to head home (18 mins) and then delivering from the right, following a short corner routine with Paul Roome, for Williams, red carded against Lincoln, to head his second to give The Spireites a 3-0 lead with 34 minutes played.

Ritchie Holmes headed the fourth from a corner after Roome flicked on at the near post (47) and Thomas Cooper-Richards wrapped things up four minutes later after some Roome skill and a great pass.

Williams missed the chance of a hat-trick when the keeper kept him out following Cooper-Richards good work whilst first year trainee Adam Smith had a number of close calls as The Spireites dominated.

Under 16 keeper Scott Webb will rarely have had an easier night, one effort on target from 20 yards at 0-5 was about it, but he deserved the rest after playing on Saturday for the youth team and for the U16's on Sunday as regular keeper Dan Whatsize and first year scholar Matt Malak are absent through injury.

Last season in the same competition, Hinckley were beaten 8-4 by The Spireites.

Cheltenham Town (Home) are next up in this competition.

Team: Webb, Bearder, Holmes, Fearon, Roome, Cooper-Richards (Burns 70), Smith, Gray, Algar (Bowery 60), Lowe (Jones 66), Williams. Subs (not used): Clare, Freestone.
