THE SPIREITES' GOLDEN GREATS
Posted on: Sat 03 May 2008
This section of the site contains biographies of around 100 players who are considered to have made an appreciable contribution to the club's history. Some - Ernie Moss, say, are obvious: others less so. Unltimately, it is down to my subjective view so, whereas the likes of "George" Williams would not get in anyone's "First Eleven" of great players, he and others are here for their fantastic attitudes to the club and the supporters. As a general rule of thumb, players must have played at least 100 games or scored at least 25 goals to get in, but there are exceptions.
