JACK BAGS ANOTHER AWARD
Jack has rolled back the years, with his greatest ever goal-haul in a season, and this has been recognised by fans up and down the country.
He is in good company as well. The PFA Players' Player of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo has made it a double scoop by being named the PFA 2UP Fans' Player of the Year for 2008.
Last year's winner Cristiano retained the title he won 12 months ago - and with him being honoured by his fellow pros on Sunday, and Manchester United reaching the Champions League Final last night, it's been a hell of a few days for the Portuguese ace.
In paying tribute to Ronaldo, PFA Chief Executive Gordon Taylor said: "The debate about whether he's as good as George Best will go on and on, but for him to have broken George's goalscoring record from a wide position is phenomenal - as are those incredible free kicks he practices tirelessly.
"He was absolutely fantastic last season and I think a lot of people doubted whether he could match those achievements, but he has actually bettered them with such an amazing goal return for a winger and the fact he has added other things to his all-round game.
"He was a worthy winner of our main award on Sunday - I don't think too many people would argue with that choice - and it's great to see that he's appreciated and respected by fans up and down the country also."
Also in the hunt for the Fans' Player award in the Barclays Premier League was Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas, who on Sunday was also honoured by his peers when he was named PFA Young Player of the Year.
Supporters have also acknowledged his immense contribution again this season, and Gordon said: "The Gunners continue to be one of the best and most attractive teams to watch and the excellent young Spaniard is at the heart of most of their good work. It's incredible to think he's not even 21, yet he plays with such maturity and calm.
"For such a young player to display the sort of maturity he has shown virtually from the moment he stepped into the Arsenal first team is nothing short of remarkable, and that is probably one of his greatest attributes."
Fabregas finished third in our exclusive fans' poll, just behind runner-up Fernando Torres who himself has had a wonderful season, his first in the Premier League you have to remember. Steven Gerrard and David James, both nominated for PFA Player of the Year also, make up the top five.
In the Coca-Cola Championship, Sheffield United striker James Beattie beat off the opposition to take the crown, whilst Jay Simpson (Milllwall) and Jack Lester (Chesterfield) took the honours in Leagues One and Two, respectively.
Blades' striker Beattie, who has fired 22 goals for the club in his first season at Bramall Lane following his £4million arrival from Everton last summer, has also been voted by United fans as their Player of the Year.
In League One, Millwall's talented midfielder Simpson won two monthly awards during the season and has become a firm favourite at the New Den. Simpson. currently on loan from Premier League leaders Arsenal, has more than played his part in helping the Lions beat the drop.

Jack's the lad in League Two and Macclesfield striker Gareth Evans is full of praise for the former Nottingham Forest striker, and said recently: "Chesterfield have missed out on a play-off spot but in Jack Lester they have a quality striker. He has shown this year that age isn't really a barrier as he has been up there at the top of the scoring tables all season."
