TWO MORE AWARDS FOR JACK
Striker Jack Lester, who spent Sunday evening at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane for the PFA Awards night, where he was nominated in the League Two Team of the Year added two more awards 24 hours later in the Star Green Un's Awards night held at the Royal Victoria Hotel in Sheffield.
Readers voted the 26 goal leading scorer ahead of fellow Spireite nominees Janos Kovacs and Peter Leven to take the Star Green Un Chesterfield Player of the Year Award at an event attended by many of the game's greats. Jack received his award from ex Chesterfield manager John Duncan and Star Green Un correspondent Phil Tooley.
He was also awarded the paper's Golden Boot Award as the top scorer in the region.
Jamie Lowry, nominated for the region's Young Player of the Year Award was pipped to the post by Sheffield United's Jordan Robertson.

Other winners Player of the Years Awards included, James Beattie (Sheffield United), Mark Beevers (Wednesday), Brian Stock (Doncaster), Stephen Foster (Barnsley) and Andy Warrington (Rotherham).
A special award went to Doncaster Chairman John Ryan, Team of the Year was won by Barnsley FC for their FA Cup successes and referee supremo Keith Hackett, who started on the parks of Sheffield in 1960, was awarded a lifetime achievement award.
Present in the audience were Busby Babe and Munich survivor Albert Scanlon, European Cup winner John McGovern, World Cup Final ref Jack Taylor and Owls 66 FA Cup Final skipper Don Megson plus cricketing legend Dickie Bird, who presented Barnsley with their award.
Lee Richardson joined other managers and a couple of chairmen on the stage to sing the late Derek Dooley's favourite song, New York New York - here's what you're not meant to see!
