Manchester United is the current FA Community Shield holder after beating rivals Chelsea in a penalty shoot-out at the new Wembley Stadium last August.

Other local recipients nominated by the Blues to receive a share of the FA Community Shield Fund are Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice (£2,000) and the Chesterfield and North Derbyshire Branch of the Alzheimers Society (£1,000).
