PLAY POKER ON SKY SPORTS AND COMPETE FOR £6000
PartyPoker.com, your football club's official online poker partner, is giving football fans up and down the country the chance to rub shoulders with their favourite stars in the Sports Stars Challenge III, a televised poker tournament which will be broadcast on Sky Sports early next year.
It is the first time that fans will take part in the popular event, now in its third year, which features stars from all walks of the sporting world. Last year's final table featured the likes of ex-Arsenal footballer Ray Parlour, the undisputed best darts player of all-time; Phil "The Power Taylor" and former snooker world champion Ken Doherty.
Taking part in the PartyPoker.com Sports Stars Challenge III won't cost a penny, as players just simply need to take part in the freeroll tournaments which begin at the end of November, each with a £1,000 first prize. Players then earn points for their finishing position, with the six players with the most points from the three freerolls in November, December and January booking their place for the televised final. The six qualifiers will then battle it out against each other in front of the Sky Sports cameras at the Sports Stars Challenge III for a £6,000 winner takes-all prize pool.
