Striker Adam Rooney is in line for the League Two Powerade Player of the Month Award when they are announced on Monday.

He has been nominated for the month of October along with MK Dons midfielder Lloyd Dyer, Chester City midfielder Richie Partridge and Barnet striker Liam Hatch.

 

Adam, who is on loan from Stoke City until 3 January 2008, scored four goals in five games during October, including a brace against Macclesfield Town (pictured celebrating above).

 

He also gave a good account of himself when representing the Republic Of Ireland in their U21's European Championship game against England in Cork.

 

The winner of the award will be announced next Monday 5 November at 7.00pm approx on the Big League Weekend 2 on Sky Sports 1.
