The pre-match collection at our last home game against Dagenham and Redbridge for Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice raised £720. 

Chesterfield supporters have been thanked by the organiser for their generosity and support. 

The hospice near Dinnington, which serves the Chesterfield area, is due to open next year to provide a home from home for up to 200 children with life limiting and terminal illnesses.

With running costs of £1.8 million each year the support of the local community is vital and this is recognized by Chesterfield FC, which last year donated £2,500 from the club's share of FA Community Shield monies.
