Chesterfield team captain Aaron Downes was on the bench for the Qantas Under 23's one nil victory over DPR Korea in Newcastle, New South Wales, this weekend.

Captain Mark Milligan (Sydney FC) (pictured) returned to the side from suspension to head home a vital second-half headed goal to win all three points for his side.  This win gives a big boost to Australia's chances of qualification for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.

The goal was the difference in a hard fought game in which Australia created most of the attacking opportunities.

The Qantas Under 23's must top their four-team group to secure one of Asia's three berths in Beijing, and, having recorded a win from their first home match of this final qualification stage, are now on track to secure their sixth consecutive Olympic Games appearance.
