Former Spireite Glynn Hurst is set to make his first return to Saltergate since scoring the last gasp winner against Luton Town in May 2004 on Friday night Read on what he had to say to Shakers World ahead of the game

"Friday's game at Chesterfield will be very tough for us. I know the manager, Lee Richardson, very well and I owe him a lot because he helped me a lot as a person and I have a lot to thank him and Dave Rushbury for when I was there as a young lad.  I've got a hell of a lot to thank for them for.  I have a lot of respect for him as a person and I think he will make a good manager as well."

"He's a lovely man and there is no doubt that he will have a good team.  We are going to have to be well up for it to get anything from that game.  It would be nice to get my first goal of the season there and I know people are asking that."

"At the end of the day, I am playing a different role this season and I think I am doing a good job for the team.  I did set a target of 20 goals for the season, but at the same time I have to be more realistic.  I still want to score and I will still get a lot of goals from there, but maybe I have to be a little bit more realistic rather than just balance it off and do a job for the team."
