THE Spireites made their annual visit to Matlock Town on Monday 30 July, kick-off 7.45pm and ended up winning 5-1.

Chesterfield manager Lee Richardson indicated that there would be be further rotation of players in the squad with those who

played a smaller part at Scunthorpe likely to start the game at Causeway Lane.

A trialist left-sided midfielder was involved and scored.

The team played in the new all-red third choice strip tonight.

Admission prices at Causeway Lane:  £7 adults, £4.50 OAP/U16.
