Chesterfield's preparations go up a gear with two attractive pre-season friendlies at Saltergate over the next few days. 

Checkout the kick-off times here as some parts of the media have been showing incorrect information.

League One Nottingham Forest are the visitors this Saturday for Steve Blatherwick's Testimonial game, whilst Championship side Sheffield Wednesday are at Saltergate next Tuesday night.

There are reduced prices for all parts of the ground and fans can pay on the day through the turnstiles for both games, although tickets are available in advance.  As usual a ticket must be purchased in advance for the main stand.

Both visiting sides have promised to send their full first team squads for these games. 

Forest is expected to include their new signing, the former Leicester and Celtic Northern Ireland International Neil Lennan, as well as former Spireites Ian Breckin and Sammy Clingan. 

The Owls are expected to include well known faces such as, Marcus Tudgay, Glenn Whelan, Chris Brunt and Deon Burton in their lineup.
