An artist's impression of the Spireites planned new stadium on Whittington Moor, Chesterfield, can now be revealed for the first time. This has been prepared by the stadium architects, Ward McHugh Associates, and, as it is still work in progress, it is likely to be subject to further changes.

This view of the main entrance and main stand will be seen from the old A61 Sheffield Road, with the main entrance planned to be situated almost opposite Fitness First.

The banqueting, conference, and corporate facilities are located on the first floor and accessed via the main entrance.  There are three main suites for approximately 200 covers, 100 covers and 80 covers, all with views over the pitch.

There will be  concourses under each of the four stands with bar, refreshments, TV's, and of course toilets.

A new Spireites club shop, along with the ticket office and club offices, will be located adjacent to the main entrance.

The stand on the right, which is behind the goal, will be for home fans only. Away fans will be located at the other end behind the goal and, if needed, can also spill round into the side opposite the main stand.

The stadium capacity is approximately 10,500.
