More details about Chesterfield FC's proposed new stadium at Whittington Moor are about to be revealed in a specially commissioned full-colour virtual reality fly-thru.

A birds-eye view

The 17 minute long DVD will, for the first time, bring the stadium plans to life and give supporters the chance to see all round their proposed new home, both inside and out.

Key facts about stadium specifications and facilities will also be provided in an accompanying soundtrack.

Chesterfield's head of marketing, Alan Stevenson, said: "With the fly-thru, fans will be able to see what a good stadium they are getting, which will provide a wonderful matchday experience."

He added: "It's designed with future expansion in mind and that's fully in line with the club's aspirations for Championship football in the longer-run."

It's a supporter friendly stadium which provides a close-to-the-pitch experience for spectators.

The main west stand

Supporters will get their first chance to see the stadium fly-thru at the Spireites Player of the Year Presentation dinner at the Sheffield Park Hotel on Sunday 29 April 2007.

It is intended that later this year the full virtual fly-thru will be shown at supporters meetings and be available for viewing on this website.
