Chesterfield F.C Girl's Centre of Excellence have formed an official partnership with Charter Standard club Brampton Rovers and have also appointed Brampton's Leigh Knightley as  Centre of Excellence Development Manager.

Leigh and Stu shake on the deal

 Centre Director Stewart Rowley explained "During the negotiations with Brampton I have had the opportunity to work closely with Leigh and have been impressed with his knowledge, enthusiasm, and attitude towards player development, he will have a major role at the Centre being responsible for talent identification and club liaison. Leigh's appointment is another major step forward for the Centre"

 

Leigh was delighted with the partnership and relished the opportunity of working for Chesterfield.

 

"The affiliation with Brampton Rovers and Chesterfield COE for Girls is a positive move for both parties and between us we can identify local talent and produce future England internationals"

 

"It has become clear that the Centre is the place to be for the more talented players and I am pleased to be part of such a great set up.
