First ever league match

Chesterfield - Chesterfield F.C Girls Centre of Excellence will be taking a squad of 44 players comprising of under 12's ,14's, and 16's for their first ever league fixture away to Northampton Town 10.30 am kick off on Saturday September 24^th,2005.

Centre Director Stewart Rowley said " The players have all worked hard and reacted well to the high tempo pre-season training , and are all very positive and excited at the prospect of playing in the new Eastern and East Midlands League which will present them with the opportunity to test their skills against quality opposition on a regular basis"

A players coach and a supporters coach will leave Saltergate at 7.30 am, picking up at Trowel services at 8.00am.
