Last season's Player of the Year Aaron Downes has won yet another award.  This time he was a member of the victorious NRC Services four man golf team which were winners of the Spireites Golf Tournament with 92 points.

Winning captain Phil Lyne said: "It was a fabulous day and well organised by directors Chris Breeze and David Jones and the real bonus was meeting Aaron Downes.  Aaron made us all feel welcome and his local knowledge helped our team around the course"

The event organised by the CFC Business Community Partnership was held at Grassmoor Golf Club on Wednesday 11 July 2007.

Runners-up were NE Electrical Wholesalers on 91 points, and in third place CMC Auminium with guest Jamie Hewitt also with 91 points.

Fourth place out of the 18 teams which competed were the Midlands Co-op on 88 points with guest Jamie Lowry.
