Roy McFarlandRoy perhaps the biggest League game of the season against Nottingham Forest, how do you see this one?

We are looking forward to it after a good week so far after picking up four points against Port Vale and Carlisle. We really needed those points because teams at the lower end of the table are starting to pick up points and scrapping for their lives.

The fans were edgy but two good performances and things look rosier

It needed to look rosier and we have worked at that and the supporters really played a part last Saturday and were fantastic. The main difference last Saturday was that we took our chances when on top, unlike at Carlisle our last cross or final pass were not of high enough quality and that was the main reason why we did not come away with all three points.

What about Nottingham Forest, promotion contenders who are perhaps under some pressure

I think they are under a lot of pressure. They are desperate to get out of the division and get into the Championship. In the early part of the season they were clear favourites but all of a sudden they are finding it hard to win football matches. I think its one win in seven so I am hoping we can cause them more problems. I felt at the City ground we put in a tremendous performance, they took their chances and we didn't. Looking at the score line it looked like they battered us but there won't be many sides that win 4-0 and there goalkeeper is the man of the match after making three high class saves.

What's the team news?

Paul Shaw hopefully should be back, his toe nail was hanging off at Carlisle and his toe was very sore and tender. We have no other injury problems so it will be the same squad that we took to Carlisle.

So the Chief may play three games in a week?

The Chief wants to play every week but because of his age sometimes he can't but he's raring to go for Saturday

Any developments on the loan striker search?

We have been in touch with a Premiership club and they won't let the player we would like out on loan before the weekend. We are looking around at other options, but will be going back to our original target after the weekend to see if things have changed.

Looking at the league table the neutral goal difference could it be worth a point?

It could be worth a point but we want to do things properly and widen the gap between ourselves and the drop zone. I think the safety margin might be higher than normal because sides are starting to win. We turned over Port Vale last weekend and then Port Vale go and beat Oldham three nil, who besides Scunthorpe were the form team in the division. Its topsy turvy and we all fighting for our lives and it's very competitive down there.
