LEE: IT'S A MASSIVE GAME FOR US
In his latest SPIREITES WORLD TV interview Lee Richardson looked ahead to this weekends trip to Morecambe and gave his thoughts on speculation linking him with the vacant Huddersfield job. Read the highlights here
Saturday's game is a massive game for us, and we want to take the three points. It's a tricky place to go and a bit similar to Dagenham & Redbridge and not the most glamorous of surroundings. But it will be a tough test and there will be challenges to face and we will have to be up to them.
Jack Lester's just started light training again today and he's been doing some aerobic work following the bad break to his nose. It's been fixed well but one nostril is still causing him a few problems and we hope to get him back sooner rather than later. Jamie Ward and David Dowson have really stepped up to the plate since Jack's injury and we are looking forward to it. We are hopefully picking up form at the right time and will be going into the game full of confidence and belief. Morecambe on their day though can be a handful, they beat
If we finish the season on 78 points and if we don't make the play-offs we will have been extremley unlucky to miss out. Normally 71 or 72 points have been enough in recent years to get into the play-offs, this year it's looking like teams may need more than that. The only thing we can do is concentrate on our job and that's to get three points on Saturday and then see what's happened elsewhere.
