LEE RICHARDSON spoke to SPIREITES WORLD TV about the latest team news and the two new additions to the squad.  You can read the highlights here but best seen in full

"Only one player unavailable and that's Gregor Robertson, Adam Smith is back in the squad and the only long-term is Gregor. We've brought in two lads from Sunderland on loan and both players are full of enthusiasm which should help a team in a bit of a slump. David Dowson is a forward who can play down the middle or out wide and Peter Hartley is a left sided defender either at full back or Centre Half"

"You could look at it that David Dowson is the replacement for Adam Rooney and Peter Hartley is like for like with Gregor Robertson. I've been interested in a few players that have chosen not to come to us and can confirm these have been Robert Page who went from Coventry to Huddersfield, Graham Lee who went on loan to Hartlepool from Doncaster, and Sam Collins who moved from Hull to Hartlepool.  There has been a concern since Kevin Gray pulled his hamstring against Mansfield last December and I've been in various discussions with various players and hopefully we will have someone in the next ten days maybe two weeks. Its much more difficult to attract players when we are in League Two especially with the wage cap, I'm hopeful we will bring someone in the not too distant future who is the type of player we need."

"The away game at Brentford was a turning point as I thought it was the poorest we had played this season.  We now have one win and ten, which is not good enough.  We need to get back to winning ways and its time for that poor run to stop. I think Grimsby, Lincoln and Brentford have turned their seasons round and have been on good runs.  All the divisions are so tight.  We have seen it so often that we've had a good start to the season and then finish poorly.  I'm confident in this not happening and we are still focusing on promotion, whether it be through the play-offs or maybe into that third promotion spot. The only  target we have at the moment though is to to win our next football match and that is what we are focusing on this week."
