"We have Adam Smith as a major doubt, everyone else is available, Kevin Cooper and Jamie Ward came through on Saturday ok. The players that finished the game at Grimsby finished on a high although we conceded a dubious penalty at the end.  The team that started were more than capable of getting a result, conceding the goals didn't help, whatever the team that goes out tomorrow night will be expecting to win.

We have a team that can live with the best in the division and we have better players that count in a sense with their experience and qualities although maybe it can change during the season. Up until Christmas and in the first third of the season we have got more points than the middle third. It helped with having Felix Bastians here who, for a time, gave us balance but I felt towards the end of his spell he was having less impact on the game.  Maybe Kevin Cooper can provide that balance."

"It's good for confidence when players score goals, I expect Jamie and Kevin to weigh in with goals. All our players can play in different positions and I've said it many times that people can get confused with systems.  We assess the opposition and on the day use whatever system we consider appropriate but basic errors can then lead to the assumption that the system is at fault when that it is not always the case. The players aren't asked to do something that I don't think they are capable of"

"If you split the season into thirds you can have a less successful third providing the other two overcome that.  The first third was fine but the middle third has let us down.  We are now into the final third now and still have the platform to achieve some success."

"Peterborough are spending lots of money and are bringing lots of qualities to the squad, they are considered to be the glamour team of the division and, hopefully, we can replicate what we did at London Road earlier on in the season."
