We must not take Chester lightly because they have lost seven out of there last eight games. They will believe Saturday is when they will turn it round. So we have to be mindful of that, and it won't be easy just because they are on a bad run.

We will have to make changes with Peter Leven suspended and Jamie Lowry also ruled out through suspension. It will give others an opportunity to get into the side and into the squad. I played Aaron Downes at right back at Stockport largely because of the threat of Stockport three big forwards and I thought Aaron was excellent.

Gregor Robertson does struggle at times, largely because of who's been playing in front of him.To be fair stillI don't think we have solved that one yet. Felix Bastians largely did a good job and gave us some balance and Wardy causes teams problems going forward but both have left Gregor exposed at times.

I thought we were unfortunate to concede the first goal at Stockport. The referee contrived to give them the freekick. I won't criticise Barry Roche because I have asked him to be positive and come for balls. It was though a disappointing and somewhat comical goal to concede but Barry more than made up for it with a number of good saves.

Up front all three played well, Fletcher led the line well and Lester and Wardy were dangerous all night. I thought the performance was excellent the other night, I really do. Though it was a very heavy pitch, so we will have to be wary that it's not taken its toil too heavily on the players legs.

It's all about points at this stage of the season and not performances so much.  But we hope to pick up where we left off in our last home game against Hereford for Saturday's game against Chester.
