We are disappointed obviously we have again got beat by a single goal in a very tight game. We had enough chances early doors Jamie Ward had a one on with the goalkeeper who made a smart save.

The key moment was a tackle in Derek Niven by Tommy Doherty and thirty seconds later the balls in the back of our net after a great strike by Scott McGleish. Other than that they rarely threatened and we didn't show enough nous to get a result on a poor pitch. We were old manned to a certain extent and its all about results and not performances because at the end of the day its results that we will be judged by and not good performances.

A draw would have been a fair result on reflection of the play but football's not fair and never has been or will be. Every team we play recognise us as one of the better footballing sides in the division.  But we lacked that little bit of quality today and had poor delivery from free kicks and we didn't put them under enough pressure or do enough to score. A point today would have been a great result and we are now at the business end of the season where you have to win games like today's or at least not lose.

We also have suspensions looming for next Saturday game against Chester. I won't be rushing out to sign anybody this week unless the right player becomes available. It's still a case of wait and see. But there is no real pressure to do anything with the loan window reopening a week later.
