The poor first half performance cost us and we really deserved nothing from the game because of that. For the first 30 to 35 minutes we were simply not good enough and we paid the price for that. We were sloppy, second to every ball and didn't clear our lines properly and made Brentford look better than they are.

 But to be fair we could be have been two or three down in that period. So no complaints about going behind and we were fortunate to come in level after Jack equalised against the run of play.

All I can ask the players to do then was to respond in the second half which I think they did. We brought Fletch on in the second half and played the better football and created a few chances, Jamie Lowry hit the post and Jamie Ward snatched at a couple of chances when well placed.

But again after getting a shot across our bows with a goal line clearance the ball ends up in the back if our net thirty odd seconds later. We had chances to clear it so we are disappointed. Brentford are on a good run and we have helped them to the three points today.
