LEE: WE FACE ONE OF THE TOUGHER TESTS
Like all lower league clubs, we are hoping it's our year like it was in 96/97 and hopefully it will be our turn again. We certainly haven't had much FA Cup success of late so it will be nice to have a run this year. We also face perhaps one of the tougher tests available in Tranmere Rover who are doing well in League One and Ronnie's teams are always hard to beat. But the FA Cup is all about what happens on the day and Ronnie will know he's in for a tough afternoon.
Apart from Jamie Lowry (bruised foot) and Jamie Ward (hamstring tightness) every one's trained today and they are expected to be available for selection as well.. So hopefully I will have a full squad to choose from again on Saturday. TWe have plenty of options and I have one or two decisions to make. We have conceded goals too easily throughout the season and it's an area we have to improve on. Up front we are creating chances but need to be more clinical especially at home.
I know there has been some talk, and perhaps there is a fear amongst our supporters, about losing Jack Lester in the January transfer window. All I can say is that Jack is happy here and he's on a three year contract. It's all hypothetical as no bids bhave een received but if a bid does come in it would have to be something spectacular. We are under no pressure to sell and we want to keep Jack at the Football Club.
