Morecambe achieved what they set out to, which was to get a point here, and the frustrating thing is that that was gifted to them. That's the second time in two consecutive home games that we've contrived to do that. A combination of slackness in front of goal and a gift at the end. It was embarrassing - Adam Rooney threw it over his head, so the referee deemed that the ball was in play but Leven wasn't aware, and tried to pick the ball up. So there were clownish circumstances in the way we gave away the free kick and, as tends to happen, you get punished when you don't do things properly.

Overall, we were a million miles ahead of them. We passed them off the park, worked good situations and created good chances but if we're going to be as wasteful as we have been in the last two home games, then we'll always leave ourselves liable to the sucker punch.

We have a lot of youth and vitality in the team but the flip side of that is a naivety at times, a lack of understanding and sensing danger. They all have to learn from this.

It hurts us all; we're all very, very disappointed. We are much more clinical away from home but we need to turn that around and make sure that it doesn't happen again.

We were caught out by an early free kick and that's naivety. From then on it was just a question of time before we got back level, then in front. We did that, and that's one of the positives from the day, but we're not thinking about those positives at the moment because of the way we lost two points. I'm repeating myself but if you don't take your chances you leave yourselves liable to that killer at the end, and that's what we've done again.
