"I'd like to go schools in the area with our football in the community department. I received a lovely letter to go to Woodthorpe School in Staveley and I'm delighted to be here. I was asked how much I earned from the school children and I had to fend that question off."

"Team news wise just a few knocks, Peter Leven, Adam Rooney a bit of stiffness really. After a scan Jamie Ward is lback in the squad, as is Nicky Travis. Steve Fletcher's injury isn't too bad and he'll be not to far away after the weekend. Jamie Winter is suspended for Saturdays match."

"Tuesday nights match at Wrexham was special and we'll be looking to have more of those. The supporters who were there I was delighted for and for them to witness that. Saltergate is not as wide a pitch as Peterborough or Wrexham but we have proved we can win at home and Saturdays match is the biggest of the season. Peter Leven was a candidate for outstanding player and I was pleased for Felix Bastians who set up two goals and he is an exciting prospect. Bookings I'm concerned with but not for tackles more like kicking the ball away or dissent and we have a club fine system. Bookings are ok for genuine attempts to play the ball and I know that if you take an aggressive side out of your game it can have dire consequences."

"The aim is to look to build from the Wrexham result, keep the tempo up. The disappointing point from the Barnet match was when the ref stopped the mulit-ball where the Football League say it's ok for us. We need to keep the game flowing and it's something we like. Our supporters will hopefully give it back to a ball boy . The problem was with the Barnet fans keeping the ball and throwing it onto the pitch, so the referee stopped the system that day."
