LEE: IT'S A THIN DIVIDING LINE
"Whereas last week we were disappointed with the performance, I've not got too many complaints about that this week. We were clearly the dominant side, had the lion's share of chances, possession and all the other stats, beyond the one that counts. It's a concern, that two games we've lost 1-0 in have had a similar feel to them as other games in previous seasons, and today was another case of not getting the goal that would have given us a platform to go on and win the game."
"Without being disparaging to Notts County, we were the only team in the game. They will admit that they were fortunate to get all three points today. We were clearly the better side and had four or five great chances in the first half. On another day Jack Lester might have had a first-half hat-trick. We didn't create anything clear-cut in the second half although we had lots of goalmouth action. But for a sloppy goal and some wayward finishing, we would have taken all three points."
"I expect Notts to be there or thereabouts at the end of the season, with the experience they've got, but a neutral would have thought we were the home side today. And its two away games on the trot where we've felt like the home side, because our supporters have outsang theirs. Unfortunately today, we couldn't provide them with anything to go back home with.I am disappointed and there are obviously things we need to work on, but no great panic from me today - I thought we were very good, at times."
"We are still handily placed and there is a long, long way to go. All we can do is learn from today, to realise how thin the dividing line is, sometimes, between success and failure."
