FULL SQUAD BACK IN TRAINING
Posted on: Wed 17 Nov 2004
News today that long-term injury victims Caleb Folan (broken ankle) and Steve Payne (cartilage) are both back in training with the first team squad and played 20 minutes of football for the first time in months. Both are still a few weeks away from contention for a place in the team and the next step will be a competitive game in the reserves. Also back in training is Matt O'Halloran (hamstring) whose one substitute appearance ended in injury. Although he has completed his one month contract he is being retained on a non-contract basis to give him the chance to be assessed properly by the club.

Meanwhile, Frickley Athletic's leading goalscorer Lee Morris could be back with the Spireites for a further trial in a reserve game at Huddersfield next week.
