After our first league game at Wrexham we came through relatively unscathed. There were a few tired legs after playing 90 minutes in that blistering heat, but I thought the lads fitness held up very well.

The only injury worry was Gus Uhlenbeek who suffered from a knock on the knee, this is responding to treatment and he is back in full training.

Then in Tuesday nights game with Burnley Steve Blatherwick to a real knock to the face after an accidental clash with Alan O'Hare. The initial X-ray failed to pick up a small fracture in Blathers cheek he will now be out for between 4-5 weeks. Following that extra time some of the other lads had some stiffness but hopefully everybody will be fine for Saturdays game.

As for the longer form of injuries Caleb Folan twisted his ankle on the Thursday before the kick off this ha responded well to treatment and Caleb is now back into running and some slight ball work if everything goes to plan he will resume full training soon.

Mark Innes has just returned from two weeks at the national rehab centre at Lilleshall following his hamstring trouble. Mark has now been given the go ahead to step up  training and is about 2-3 weeks away from full training.

Stuart Howson has now completed his long distance running and is starting to do short sharp running with some ball work after his knee operation if everything goes well he is about two weeks from full training.
