Steve FletcherAfter two games in four days the good news is there are no new major injuries to report. The main worry from the two games was the thigh injury to Steve Fletcher who was forced to be withdrawn from the game at Nott's county last week, this injury has settled down quite well this week but is still in some discomfort and we will assess the injury later this week and hopefully he will be available for today's game.

ward home As for the longer term injuries, Jamie Ward has progressed very well over the last few weeks since he has returned from Lilleshall. We have upped his re-hab and everything has gone well. Jamie had another scan on his hamstring this week to make sure everything was progressing well. The outcome of this was that the hamstring has now healed and we can push on with his training. With this in mind he has now joined the rest of the squad this week for some training, continuing with his re-hab work as well, the main aim now is prevention for Jamie as well as continuing with the strengthening work on the hamstrings and gluteus muscles.

Adam Smith has also made good progress after his injection to settle down his inflamed bursa in his knee. After his initial rest Adam is now well into the running phase of his re-hab and if everything goes well should be back with the rest of the squad in the next couple of weeks.
