The Football League are asking clubs to nominate one goal from any Football League competition in the 2007 calendar year, to include goals scored in The Carling Cup, The Coca-Cola Football League and The Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

We want fans to help us decide our club nomination by emailing media@chesterfield-fc.co.uk with their favourite Spireites goal from 2007.  If necessary a vote will be held.

The entries will then be shortlisted from the 72 club nominations to five goals overall, and the winner will be decided at the Awards ceremony at the London Hilton on 2^nd March.

Closing date for your nominations is Monday 14 January 2008.
