FOOTBALL IN THE COMMUNITY

The staff have been very busy with the contract that we have with Derbyshire County Council, it has gone really well with just about half of the 70+ schools done.

The 'Railtrack Play Safe Trophy 2001/2002', the national competition organised by Football in the Community is now nearing the Area Finals stage with Old Hall School ready to represent Chesterfield Football Club and looking for a place in the Regional Final.

Let me just say how happy I was that at our first Saturday Morning Club of the year we had over 50 kids up at Holmebrook Valley Park, we also had three new starters of which two were girls. We all had a great time so hope to see more of you in the coming weeks.
