Alex Benson playing darts at the holiday clubThe Holiday Fun Club has picked up, from the first two week of the school holiday's we were averaging 14 children, on the 3rd week we had about 25 children come along, the children that have been coming to the holiday fun club which is based at the saltergate social club (front of the Kop) have been taking part in all kind of activities, witch range from bored games, basketball, Darts, DVD's, Play station 2's and hide and seek around the ground. The holiday club runs from 8.30am until 5.30pm, Môn to Fri for just £12 a Day

 

 

 

The Soccer Camp has even picked up, we have managed to have a tournament  between 6 teams, which makes it more enjoyable than just 4 teams, we have been having a on average about 37 children with about 15 coming up from the holiday Club, the children who have been attending the soccer camps so far have all been of a mixed ability, some who don't play football every week, just enjoy the sport and even some who are at a more serious level at the CFC centre of excellence

The camp is run over 3 days with the children getting split up into teams, they do different activities like the speed test, super strike challenges and penalty shoot-out competitions, over the 3 days we run a tournaments with all children stopping in the same teams each day, on the last day we do a semi final and then a final with the winner's, runner up and third place all receiving trophy's which was presented by CFC keeper Carl Muggleton

The soccer camp runs from 10.00am until 3.00pm Tuesday to Thursday for just £10 a day or £25 for all 3 days

 

            Saturday morning club sponsored by SBK computers has been steady with an average of 34 children; they have been doing different topics which have all been covered in the last 4 week like passing and control, shooting, dribbling and heading.

            The club is split up into 3 different group which we name them little, middle and big group; the children get put into these groups depending on ability and age

The Blues League in association with Middlecroft Leisure Centre, there was a presentation before the Rotherham game, presenting the wining team of the blues summer tournament with the trophy. The winning team was Staveley FC which are now playing in the blues league under the name of MLC (from left to right) Andy Morris (fitc community officer) Daniel Harris FITC, Steve Davies and Jody Lowe
