I would just like to thank all the children who came on our first ever childcare holiday course, everyone from the kids to the staff enjoyed the week, it was long and hard at times but was a great success apart from the weather-it seemed to rain all day, every day.  The high point I think was when we went bowling at Chesterfield Bowl, it was great fun and everyone seemed to enjoy it. 

I would especially like to thank a particular group of children who joined us on the first day - these were children who take care of older members of their own family, the coaches said that they were the nicest kids that they have had the honour to coach, they never complained about the rain and the cold weather which shows what kind of children they are. 

Finally, thank you to Chesterfield Football Club for letting FITC turn the club into a running ground for the kids. 

In the next few weeks we will be sitting down to organise February's course - we hope to make it bigger and better than the one we have just had.

The weather may have changed but myself and the staff will still be at Holmebrook Valley Park every Saturday for our Saturday Morning Club for children 5-14 years.
