A grand total of £525, including £90 from a bucket collection and a further £195 from a Valentines Day initiative at the school, has been raised for the charity, which helps vulnerable people in the UK and abroad.

A penalty shoot-out with CFC's Andy Morris is also being arranged at the school in the near future to raise even more for Sport Relief, an annual event which is featured on BBC TV again this weekend.

Community director John Croot said: "We are delighted to be working in partnership with Tupton Hall on this worthwhile initiative and congratulate everyone who took part for what they have achieved."
