The special deal is for the home game against MK Dons on Monday 10 March 2008, kick-off 7.45pm.

It means that staff at the Chesterfield and North Derbyshire Royal Hospital will not only be able to support the Spireites from the Compton Street stand and save money, but a donation from every ticket sold will be made to Nightingale Ward to help with improvements to the outdoor children's play area.

CFC community director John Croot said: "This offer for local hospital staff is recognition of the services they provide for the sick and infirm in Chesterfield and we hope as many as are able can take advantage."

He added: "At the request of the players who visited at Christmas we are also making a donation from the sale of each ticket to help with the plans to improve the children's outdoor play area at the hospital."

Tickets prices, which are Adults £12 (usually £17), Concessions £9 (usually £12), Juniors £6 (usually £7) can be purchased by hospital staff prior to kick-off from the ticket office upon production of a valid NHS ID Card.
