Junior Blues launched their new Goalkeeping Development Centre last week aimed at kids of all ages.

This will provide a development programme for aspiring goalkeepers from the Derbyshire area. 

Junior Blues believe that Goalkeepers are often overlooked and do not get the attention and technical guidance they deserve or require.

Through our innovative coaching we aim to provide an opportunity for young goalkeepers to develop such essential skills such as:-

Handling

Shot Stopping

Distribution

Dealing with Crosses

Communication

Positioning

Kicking

plus others.........

This Centre is open to all children and also to Goalkeepers from other Clubs

Our coaches Paul Wignall and Jamie King (Ex-Leeds) have already achieved their Goalkeeping Badges.
