The Spireites have been visiting schools again, the latest, Cavendish Junior School at Whittington Moor, where two visits were made over successive weeks to answer questions and provide coaching sessions for the youngsters.

Chesterfield manager Lee Richardson had another grilling from the children who have a keen interest in finding out more about their local football league club and the life of professional footballers.

But the visit also went outdoors for a couple of special coaching sessions with Football in the Community's Andy Morris, assisted by defender Kevin Gray.  They held coaching sessions with both boys and girls at the school.

Manager Lee Richardson said: "It is a real pleasure to meet local youngsters at their schools as they all seem to be keen and interested in football and we want to help."

He added: "Now that our programme of school visits is up and running the players will all be getting involved over the coming months to help Andy Morris with the coaching sessions that are proving very popular."

Earlier this month Lee Richardson kicked of the programme of school visits when he called in to meet the children of Woodthorpe Primary School, near Staveley.
