The Spireites play the world's oldest football club when a Chesterfield XI take on Sheffield FC in a pre-season this Monday 4 August 2008, kick-off 7.30pm.
The game will be played at Sheffield FC's Coach & Horses ground in Dronfield.
The Chesterfield team will include all the squad players who have still to get in some pre-season match practice.
Expected in the Spireites line-up will be goalie Dan Whatsize, defenders Aaron Downes, Danny Hall, Gregor Robertson, midfielders Jamie Winter, Dan Gray, Ben Algar
Trialist Kwasi Oduro, whose flying run at Burton Albion led to the award of a decisive match-winning penalty, is expected to feature for the full 90 minutes.
Admission prices are expected to be Adults £6, Concession £3 - all pay on the night.
