Sheffield United's young goalkeeper Jamie Annerson has joined Chesterfield on loan to replace reserve goalkeeper Michael Jordan who has left the club by mutual consent.

The U19 England International has been signed initially on one month's loan.

Chesterfield manager Lee Richardson said: "Jamie is a highly-rated young 'keeper who I expect will provide extra competition."
