Hull City has cancelled its pre-season friendly at Saltergate so they can play Newcastle United at home instead.

The game against Chesterfield was due to be played on Wednesday 1 August 2007.

 

Although this has left the Spireites in the lurch, attempts to arrange an alternative home pre-season friendly is currently underway. 

 

Meanwhile, a pre-season friendly for Chesterfield Reserves has been arranged at Stocksbridge on Thursday 26 July 2007, kick-off 7.30pm.

 

Fans should also note that the kick-of time of Blathers Testimonial game against Forest has been moved to 1.00pm on police advice.
