GALA DAY; SHARE CERTIFICATES WILL BE AVAILABLE
As well as all the usual attractions the Gala Day also offers the first chance for CFSS members to pick up their share certificates.
The vote in January allowed football's biggest ever share out to supporters of a club with around 1200 fans receiving shares. The individual certificates are now ready and will, initially, be available at the Gala Day. The certificates will also be there at the first two home matches before being sent out to the remaining members.
At the same time membership renewals are going out to annual and the appropriate tri-annual members. Of course picking up your certificate does give you the perfect opportunity to renew.
As part of the repositioning of the Society a fresh vision has been set.
Our vision is :- To remain integral to the Football Club and help harness the power of football for the community.
Our goals are to :-
- Maintain a Director on the CFC Board, representing the Society and having an active day-to-day role as Community Director.
- Ensure that the land and grounds owned now, and in the future, remain part of the Club's assets.
- Promote greater involvement by the Football Club in the community of
- Advance the development of a Community Stand at the stadium.
Please renew your membership to help us achieve our goals. As well as being a member of the largest shareholder in the Club, you are a shareholder in your own right. The Society and its members hold the vast majority of all shares in the Club. Your continued support for the Society allows our position of influence to be maintained.
