Chesterfield FC is on the look-out for the best young talented footballers in the Under 15 age group for its Centre of Excellence but so far it seems to be missing out on lads from the Chesterfield area.

The first half of the season has gone pretty well overall; performances are improving over all the age groups. Some age groups have to work a little bit harder than others but they will get there as long as they keep listening and working hard

THE Centre of Excellence Squads played Lincoln on the 1st and 2nd of October, there were mixed results and performances over the weekend.

CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE UPDATE

THE Centre starts a full set of fixtures on Sunday 11th September against Rotherham,at Chesterfield Cylinders Sports ground. The 11s, 13s and under 15s squad will be up there this Sunday 11.00am kick off.

THE under 16 squad has been in pre-season training since the beginning of July, we bring this squad in early to get them use to how hard pre season because, it can be a big shock to the system for those lucky enough to gain a modern apprenticeship
